BOARDING

Not only for times of vacation, but during family
hospitalizations, illness, relatives coming to town
(perhaps they are allergic to pets!), home improvements, open house showings, moving days, and even hurricane times (we are inland and on high and dry land-we can accommodate a large number of animals if crated when necessary during emergency times.) See left panel for reservations.

OUR FACILITIES We provide a uniquely designed state of the art building that engineered separate boarding areas for dogs, cats, birds and even pot bellied pigs (please, no poisonous reptiles or tarantulas.)

FOR OUR DOGS  The indoor/outdoor designed runs are spacious, climate controlled indoor suites and dogs have access to their outdoor patios throughout the daytime hours. All runs have solid partitions between pets for safety and privacy purposes. In addition, at no extra charge, dogs are taken outside 2-3 times daily and exercised off the leash in spacious, secure grassy fenced areas on an individual basis. Easy listening music is played 24 hours a day to comfort and soothe noisy boarders.

For your pet’s nightly comfort, we supply clean comfortable bedding for them to sleep on. You can bring up to two toys for their enjoyment.

OUR FELINE GUESTS are special to us at the Almost Home Pet Resort.

So special, that their kitty condos consist of two rooms, away from barking dogs. Their rooms are airy and sunny and each cat has his own litter pan, food and water. We provide a fish tank (covered) for their enjoyment, and climbing station. Kitty condos have “family” dwellings, with optional access to their mates in the next apartment. We also allow (for free) exercise periods in our feline play area. All our feline guests are fed a premium dry food mixed with a little canned food.

VIP SUITES

(for the Very Important Pet).

For the discriminating small dog (under 40 pounds) or cat boarder we offer plush home-like rooms with a theme: Sea World, Country Dreamland, African Safari, Betty Boop Room,  Victoria Kitty and Noah's Ark. They feature ceramic tile floors, beds, area rugs, ceiling fans, tempered glass front door, window and even its own radio tuned to their listening pleasure. ROOM SERVICE At Almost Home Pet Resort, we feed a premium high quality chicken/rice dry food mixed with a little canned chicken. If your pet requires a specific diet or you want us to continue with their own diet, simply bring the food along with your pet. We will be happy to serve it at no extra charge. Your pet will be fed once or twice daily, puppies and kittens 2-3 times daily. Heartworm medicine and vitamins that you provide us with will be administered at feeding times. If your pet is prescribed additional medicines by a veterinarian, we will administer that medicine as well, however, an additional charge may apply.

OUR FEATHERED FRIENDS At Almost Home Pet Resort we also accommodate our feathered friends in a separate airy, tropical designed aviary. Please bring your bird in his cage and provide the appropriate diet. We will be happy to care for them from Canaries to Macaws.

OTHER PETS In addition, we can safely house your rabbits, hamsters and ferrets, but please no venomous reptiles or tarantulas! Even pot-bellied pigs!
